Research Summary
Dr. Hughes' research focuses on the environmental fate and transport of nanomaterials. In particular focusing on the interactions between nanomaterials and living systems. The purpose of these studies is to extend existing models of element cycles and to insure that unwanted environmental impacts of materials production can be avoided.
